The Partnership for Action Against Wildlife Crime (PAW) was launched in 1995. All UK police forces are members of the Partnership, as are many organisations throughout the UK. Its objectives are to promote effective wildlife law enforcement nationally and internationally.

THE AIMS OF PAW

To create opportunities to work together to combat wildlife crime.

On a local scale, PAW actively supports the work of Operation Easter, a national operation run by Tayside Police and aimed at obtaining prosecutions against persistent collectors of wild birds' eggs.

PAW's Mission Statement - Working in partnership to reduce wildlife crime by raising awareness and promoting effective enforcement.
