The Maryfield Section of Dundee covers Stobswell, Hilltown & Maryfield areas. This is a densely populated area comprising of private, council and rented accommodation. There are two major shopping areas, Albert Street and Hilltown, and one of the main routes into the city runs through the Section. The city's main Football Stadiums, Dens and Tannadice Park, are also both within this section. The Section Inspector is the officer in charge of the Maryfield Section. 6 Sergeants and about 60 Officers assist him, providing 24-hour cover. All officers work towards achieving the Force Objectives. 
Maryfield Police Station, Catherine Street (Click for map) Policing of the Section is based at two stations, Maryfield Office in Catherine Street and Hilltown office in the Hilltown. The Maryfield office is open to the public and covered by support staff who work from 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6pm and 9pm and Saturday morning between 10am and 1pm. At all other times there is a telephone facility to call the Force Control Room for help and assistance. The Hilltown office is not staffed on a regular basis by support staff but a telephone facility is available outside.
