Section 3 covers the area to the north of the city including the housing schemes of Ardler, St. Marys, Kirkton, Mill o'Mains and Fintry. The Section Inspector has operational responsibility for the area, and he is assisted by 6 Sergeants and 60 Constables. They operate from the Downfield Police Office in Balgowan Avenue.
