Established in July 2003, the Tayside Safety Camera Partnership is a partnership between the Scottish Government, Tayside Police, Dundee City, Angus and Perth and Kinross Councils. Other supporting partners include NHS Tayside, The Scottish Ambulance Service and Tayside Fire Brigade.

The aim of the partnership is to reduce road casualties in Tayside by encouraging and educating drivers to drive within permitted speed limits and according to the conditions.

Ultimately the aim is to work in line with the Government's Road Safety Strategy targets for 2010.
