REMIT

The Finance Sub-Committee has the following functions referred, but not delegated, to it :

1. All matters relating to the preparation of the Annual Revenue Budget and the requisitions to be made on the constituent authorities.

2. All matters relating to the preparation of the Financial Plan and Annual Capital Budget.

3. The framing of Standing Orders/Financial Regulations relating to contracts and financial procedures.

4. Charges for police services, and

5. Generally advising the Board on financial matters and the supervision of the whole financial administration of the Board, including banking, insurance and audit arrangements and the preparation of the Annual Accounts.


MEMBERSHIP

In terms of paragraph 10 of the Amalgamation Scheme and Standing Order 39, the Board may appoint such Sub-Committees as it considers necessary. In terms of the Finance Sub Committee it will comprise 7 members (3 from Dundee City Council 2 from Angus Council and 2 from Perth and Kinross Council.
