The Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 1985 require the Tayside Joint Police Board or
Authority to publish the annual accounts for Tayside Police. However, in recognition of the need for
accountability in the way we spend income from the Scottish Government and the Tayside Joint Police Board
or Authority, and the public interest in the cost of our services, we will publish the annual accounts for
Tayside Police. The accounts will be published after they have been audited and approved by the Tayside
Joint Police Board or Authority and in any case by 31 October after the end of the financial year (31 March).
The accounts will be available from the year ending 31 March 2004, and after three years from publication
they will be removed from this website.
